As Cork braces itself for heavy rainfall today, part of the country woke up to a sprinkling of snow.
The snow was even heavier in some areas – as our video from our Sports Editor Kieran McCarthy, taken early today in Killarney, shows.
Meanwhile, Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for Cork coastal areas.
The combination of high tides, wind, and very heavy rainfall, could leave some areas prone to flooding.

Some parts of the city were flooded early this morning at high tide, with fears for the next high tide this evening. Parts of Crosshaven and Carrigaline were also affected.
