WEST Cork’s first ever yoga festival will take place at An Sanctoir in Ballydehob over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

The proposed three-day gathering is designed to celebrate a diverse range of yoga styles, as well as movement and healing, in the beautiful setting of An Sanctoir, a 30-acre nature reserve near Ballydehob.

Teachers from many different schools and backgrounds will share their knowledge and offer classes in Hatha Yoga, Astanga Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar Yoga, Satyananda Yoga, Scaravelli Yoga, Acro Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Womb Yoga.

People will also be able to participate in meditations sessions, attend talks and kirtan, as well as dance and movement workshops, as well as attend a dedicated and skilled team of healers and therapists on site.

The festival is being organised by the West Cork Yoga Festival Collective: a team of local yoga teachers. For further information see www.westcorkyogafestival.ie.
