Emily likes the low key reception in Bantry

THE American model and actress Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski caused a stir when she visited Bantry for Paddy’s weekend.

However, the 26-year old face of DKNY, who was born in London to American parents, but spent her summers growing up in Bantry, kept a very low profile and only posted a couple of photographs on Instagram that featured shamrock emojis and the caption ‘Home.’

Danny Collins, owner of The Boston Bar, told The Southern Star: ‘I didn’t see her around this time, but it was all over social media that she was enjoying a visit home for St Patrick’s weekend.

‘She has been around plenty of times because her parents live locally and she would come to town, go for a drink, and act as normal as any other person around Bantry. 

‘People treat her normally, just like anyone else. We have a lot of celebrities in Bantry and that is the way they like to be treated. They don’t like too much fuss or attention.’
