A DUNMANWAY lady has become a viral hit after getting her hands on a virtual reality headset.

A DUNMANWAY lady has become a viral hit after getting her hands on a virtual reality headset.
In the video, Ettie Carroll from Dunmanway is obviously very taken with the rollercoaster game given to her by her grand nephew, Ryan.
At one stage she says to Michael, who is in the room, ‘Oh Mother of God, I will have to give this up, Michael,’ but keeps watching it for another minute. ‘Jesus that is very dangerous,’ she says. ‘Oh God my head.’
While Michael keeps telling her she can take it off her face at any stage, she continues watching. ‘Michael I am giving up, can I take it off?’ she finally says at the end.
Her grand nephew Ryan is part of a team from Dunmanway’s Maria Immaculata Community College that have started a company called Citosc – inspired by Google Carboard – which allows anyone to experience virtual reality.
They are in Croke Park this week at the Student Enterprise awards finals.
Within 11 hours of putting the video up on their Facebook page, the video had over 1,700 views.
