THE second annual Clonakilty Street Carnival promises to serve up unmissable entertainment when it takes place next month.

Last year’s carnival was a great success with up to 1,800 people fed at the country’s ‘longest dinner table’.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, June 17th with 2,500 meal tickets. Even more of the town’s top restaurants will serve street food with tables set along the full length of Pearse St. Food service will start at 3pm providing €10 adult meals and €5  children’s meals.

The town will be pedestrianised 9am-9pm with street performers and buskers; live music; a kids zone with supervised bouncy castles, face painting, magicians and more.
