Another accolade for Inchydoney

FOR the second year in a row, The Island Spa at Inchydoney Island Lodge has won the Best Service Award at the Irish Tatler Spa Awards 2015.

A team of expert judges travels around Ireland and evaluate spas based on a specific set of criteria to determine the best spas around the country. ‘From the moment she arrived, our judge found the service at Inchydoney Lodge & Spa to be exceptional,’ said Irish Tatler of their judge’s visit to Inchydoney, ‘the staff could not do enough to make me feel at home, something I observed them also do with every other guest in the hotel. It reminded me that good service does not need to be excessive to be memorable, it needs to be sincere.’

The Island Spa received the Best Innovative Treatment award in 2013, and was delighted by its Best Service victory this year for the second year running. Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa prides itself on their warm welcome. The staff at the resort’s Island Spa was praised by owner of the hotel, Des O’Dowd: ‘Our spa manager Brid O’Sullivan and her fantastic team work hard to ensure guests feel comfortable, relaxed and pampered during their visit.
