Formerly Kealkill Sand & Gravel, Drimoleague Concrete Works Ltd was established in 1970 when Bob Murnane and Dinny O’Shea opened a sand and gravel pit at Moulavanig, Kealkill.
Our company has grown vastly over the years and today we manufacture and supply readymix concrete, blocks, precast, crushed stone, concrete products, sand and gravel to the domestic, commercial, agricultural and maritime sectors. All our products are manufactured and quarried in our own quality approved quarries.
In 2002 we purchased a site in Ballard, Castletownbere and installed a readymix plant there to service the Beara Peninsula.
Quality is our number one priority for all our products, which are regularly tested and CE Certified. Our Readymix Concrete has carried the relevant certification since 1993. The current standard for Concrete is IS EN 206-1:2002, which our company strictly adheres to.
We are the longest serving Readymix Concrete supplier based in West Cork.
