Rosscarbery Pitch and Putt Club was founded in 1982 on over 17 and a half acres of prime seaside land.
There are two 18 hole courses (Cregane Course & Channel Course) which are beautifully situated at the Warren Strand on the shores of Rosscarbery Bay, a unique selection of golf holes amid the sand dunes.
Cregane Course
This course has a total length of 925 meters. There are 3 x 70 meters in length, 10 x 50 to 67 meters in length, 4 x 40 to 50 meters in length 1 x 35 meters.
This is an open course with lots of space and greens slightly bigger than usual pitch and putt greens. This course is in continual development with greens being kept to golf course standard. Lovely sea views from the course. The course is playable all year round due to the sand base.
Channel Course
This course has a total length of 912 meters. There are 2 x 70 meters in length 10 X 50 to 60 meters in length 6 X 40 to 50 meters in length.
This course is tighter and the greens are slightly smaller than on Cregane course. This course is also in continual development with greens being kept to golf course standard. It is closer to the sea so has lovely sea views. The course is playable all year round again due to the sand base.
The club and courses are a very important part of life in Rosscarbery and beyond and are ranked in the Top 10 courses in Ireland.
In the early 90's two tennis courts were built adjoining the Pitch and Putt courses.
The club is run by an elected Committee of its members. Going forward our aim is to keep progressing and improve the quality of the courses.
The clubhouse is open full time from June 1st to the end of September each year for club-hire and green fees. Otherwise we may be contacted by phone.
