A CLONAKILTY-based business has won a top prize at the highly coveted weddingsonline awards 2023.

TakeNplace won the newcomer award for its  wedding photo-sharing platform that consolidates guest photos in one central location.

Offering a sustainable alternative to disposable and Polaroid cameras, the user-friendly service requires no apps. Once registered, couples are issued with a unique QR code, inviting guests to upload photos directly from their mobile phones in just a few clicks.

Valda Binding said it was a huge achievement for her business, and a timely one as it’s coming up to its first anniversary. Meanwhile, a Clonakilty venue has been showcased on Irish wedding venue website SaveMyDay.ie. The website says it has seen a rise in the popularity of exclusive-hire wedding venues amongst to-be-weds over the past 12 months.

It has curated a list of ‘Ireland’s Top Private Hire Wedding Venues’ including Camus Farm near Clonakilty.

‘Camus Farm stands out for those seeking a relaxed, festival vibe for their celebration. Suitable for up to 100 guests, this farm venue  boasts a ceremonial circle, award-winning licensed restaurant and covered barn with stage for exclusive weddings,’ it says.
