A BIRTHDAY party for 103-year-old Ballydehob-native, Kitty O'Driscoll, resembled ‘The Stations' with everyone around at her place, enjoying good company and chat for much of the day.
A BIRTHDAY party for 103-year-old Ballydehob-native, Kitty O’Driscoll, resembled ‘The Stations’ with everyone around at her place, enjoying good company and chat for much of the day.
Kitty celebrated in grand style with cake and candles as relatives – including some from the United States – friends and neighbours joined her on Tuesday, May 7th for her big birthday bash.
Independent TD, Michael Collins said he was delighted to have been invited to the party, which saw Kitty’s home packed to the rafters throughout the day.
‘When I was leaving, Kitty said, “Be sure to come back again I’d love to talk to you.” It is the same request she makes of everyone,’ said the TD, who praised Kitty for health, vigour and interest in life.
