A public meeting has been called to discuss the changes to the local government boundaries in West Cork. 

A PUBLIC meeting has been called to discuss the changes to the local government boundaries in West Cork. 

The meeting will take place in Courtmacsherry Community Centre on Monday, November 26th at 9pm, organised by local SF Cllr Paul Hayes. 

Specifically it will address the fact that the area from Timoleague to Ring, including Courtmacsherry, Darrara and Butlerstown, which were formerly part of the West Cork Municipal District, are now being moved into the Bandon/Kinsale Municipal District area.

Local oireachtas and council members have been invited to attend to hear the concerns of residents and organisations.
