The Southern Star is giving away €1,000 to one lucky reader in January.
How you spend it is entirely up to you!
It could go towards a holiday, to pay off a bill, family food shopping, new tyres for the car or simply keep the money for a 'rainy day'. The choice is yours.
To be in with a chance of winning follow these simple steps:
1. You must collect any 3 differently numbered tokens from the 4 editions of The Southern Star published in January.
2. Token Two is in the edition published January 12th, cut it out and keep it safe. Tokens Three and Four will be published in the editions dated January 21st and 28th. If you don’t already have Token One from last week’s edition then you must get this week’s and the next two weeks’ tokens to be eligible to enter.
3. In our January 28th edition we will also publish an Entry Form along with Token 4.
4. Once you have your three differently numbered tokens, complete the entry form with your name and contact details.
5. Send the Entry Form with your three tokens in an envelope to 'Southern Star Cash Giveaway Competition, Ilen Street, Skibbereen, Co. Cork' or drop it to our offices in person.
Entries must be with us by the deadline of 5pm, Tuesday 31st January.
You are allowed to enter more than once by submitting more than one entry form with differently numbered tokens.

The winner will be randomly selected from all correct entries received.
Entries must contain 3 differently numbered tokens from the 4 tokens published in each edition in January 2023.
Only original tokens from the Southern Star newspaper will be accepted. Photocopies or photographs of tokens will not be accepted.
The winner's name will be announced in The Southern Star edition published on Thursday 2nd February.
