A HUGE crowd turned up in Baltimore on Easter Sunday evening to try and match the huge success of the ‘Happy’ video made in the village a few years ago.

The public were invited to come along and dance to the Justin Timberlake hit Can’t Stop the Feeling and told to prepare to be on film.

The dance was part of the latest ‘Happy in Baltimore’ project and this year’s theme was Baltimore no Borders, celebrating the unique and inclusive community of the West Cork harbour village.

The square was filled with people wearing bright clothes, dressed up in football shirts or waving flags from Cork to Columbia, Scotland, France, USA, Brazil more.

The dance was filmed in three takes, but with the crowd waving their hands in the air, no-one wanted it to stop.

It was 20 minutes of non-stop fun-filled happiness.

The video will be launched at a local venue in the next couple of weeks and then posted on the Happy in Baltimore Facebook page.
