Sean Powter and Eoghan McSweeney named on the bench

CORK have made one change ahead of Saturday evening’s crunch Super 8s clash with Tyrone in Croke Park (5pm) with Killian O’Hanlon back in the team.

The Kilshannig man missed the loss to Dublin last weekend after suffering a head injury in the qualifier win against Laois the previous Saturday.

Paul Kerrigan, who kicked three first-half points against the Dubs, drops to a very strong bench that includes the returning Sean Powter and Eoghan McSweeney.

Cork boss Ronan McCarthy had said after the Dublin game that O’Hanlon, Powter and McSweeney were all available for selection this weekend. Suddenly, the Cork bench looks stronger and there are plenty of options to bring on as the Rebels take on Tyrone, who beat Roscommon in their Group 2 opener last weekend.
