THE Southern Star have teamed up with O’Neills sports to give away €3,500 of sports equipment and kit to schools and sports clubs through their ‘Big Kit Giveaway’ promotion.
Readers can win one of two €1,500 O’Neills vouchers for their local school, or sports club, plus there are two further vouchers for €250 for two runners-up. The vouchers can be redeemed against the full range of O’Neills sports gear and equipment. Entering is easy as readers simply have to collect two differently numbered tokens from the three that will be published in The Southern Star editions of November15th, 22nd and 29th with ‘Token 1’ inside this week's paper on page 48.
Readers then complete the entry form (again on page 48), nominate a local sports club or school that they would like to win and send their entry into The Southern Star. Kieran McCarthy, Sports Editor of The Southern Star said: ‘This is the biggest promotion we’ve ever done in The Southern Star and the most exciting as two clubs or schools will win €1500 to spend on sports equipment and kit. Covering sport in West Cork is a massive part of our role in the community, so we wanted to give something back and that’s why we came up with the idea of ‘The Big Kit Giveaway’.
