A DIVERSE group of businesses are coming together with the help of Ludgate to create a social impact.

Ludgate in partnership with BNest, have just launched its first Business for Social Impact incubator programme at their hub.

It is the first programme run under the new Irish Social Business Campus initiative.

It will see eight social enterprises take part in the free programme over the coming months. All of them come from very different back grounds but have a common goal.

Ludgate CEO Adrienne Harrington explained: ‘Supporting start-ups has been at the core to Ludgate since we were established.  We are delighted to be able to host the incubator programme here at the hub. I would like to wish all those taking part the very best of luck.’

Guest speaker Shirley O’Regan from the Irish Community Rapid Response added: ‘The programme is a great initiative. Having been through a similar process in recent years, the benefits and support offered by ISBC cannot be measured.’

The programme will run until April at Ludgate.
