Following two decades in business, the 4-star Carrigaline Court Hotel is entering a new era as the second phase of a €3m renovation project gets underway

FOLLOWING two decades in business, the 4-star Carrigaline Court Hotel is entering a new era as the second phase of a €3m renovation project gets underway.

The 140-strong workforce, led by general manager Jerry Healy, will welcome guests into the new look hotel this May. However, over the coming weeks, guests will begin to see this transformation take place.

Phase one saw the completion of 46 bedrooms (including corridors) and three meeting rooms.

Phase two, now underway, consists of the remaining bedrooms and corridors, leisure centre and hotel lobby. The hotel will remain open for business for the duration of these renovations, but the reception will be temporarily relocated until the start of April.

Jerry Healy said: ‘We are so excited to unveil the new Carrigaline Court Hotel and showcase our labour of love. Thanks to the support of those in the local community, over the years we have become known as ‘the heart of village life’ in Carrigaline. We wished to give back to our loyal guests by investing in our hotel and ensuring that after 20 years in business, we are still offering a modern and chic experience to all who cross our threshold.’
