Hundreds of locals packed the ballroom at the West Cork Hotel on Thursday night in response to last week’s An Bord Pleanala decision to give the Skibbereen plastic factory the go ahead.
It was announced at the event that the committee of Save Our Skibbereen (SOS) is to seek a judicial review of the decision.
The Star's news editor Siobhan Cronin was in attendance and she spoke with Skibbereen resident David Puttnam and Stephen Evans Freke of Castlefreke.
