GOOD news for Bantry today as the Health Minister paid a visit to the town’s hospital.
Accompanied by local FG TD Jim Daly, Minister Simon Harris announced funding for a new endoscopy unit.
He also announced plans for rehabilitation units at Bantry General Hospital.
Construction on both is to begin in 2020, thanks to an investment of over €5.4m.
