A six-bedroomed house in Leap is going under the hammer at a public auction.

House auctions are relatively unusual in West Cork and the sale of Gallows Hill will take place on Friday, October 18th in the Celtic Ross Hotel, Rosscarbery at 3pm.

Tristan Kingston of selling agents Hodnett Forde is handling the sale and predicts a good level of interest in the property which has an asking price of €200,000.

The house is on a site of 1.4 acres and also comes with a selection of out buildings. It enjoys a central location with Leap village just 1km away.

‘This is a fine house with a good sized garden,’ said Tristan. ‘An auction like this is quite rare and it’s an opportunity to acquire a family home in a sought-after location in West Cork.’
