'Vultures must have their wings clipped' according to the ICSA

The Cork West ICSA is to host a meeting for farmers in Bantry this week.

The event will take place in the Westlodge Hotel on Thursday November 29 at  8pm.

Guest speakers on the night will be Donal Murphy, Drinagh Co-Op (Animal Nutrition); Finbar O’Shea, Bantry Credit Union (Local Farm Finance); Dermot Kelleher, ICSA Munster VP (The Future of the Suckler & Beef Herd) and  Eddie Punch, ICSA general secretary (CAP Reform).

Some members of the ICSA spent Monday protesting in Dublin against online property websites selling family farms while farmers are still trying to work things out.
