***************

What’s the one thing you can’t live without? My iPhone… and The Southern Star every Thursday of course!

What would I find in your fridge right now? Hummus, cheese and Ballymaloe relish.

Name one element your sport could/should take from another? I wouldn’t change a thing.

What do you think about when you’re alone in your car? I’d be hoping that it doesn’t break down on me as it’s giving me a bit of trouble of late!

Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My father Seán as he always brought us to matches since we were young and is a very proud Newcestown man.

Pick two celebrities to be your parents: Michael D Higgins and Ellen DeGeneres.

What do you think cats dream of? If my cat is anything to go by they dream of getting into the house and eating all the food.

If you could play any other sport for one day what would it be? Rowing with the O’Donovan brothers, they seem like great fun.

If you joined a circus, what would you perform? I’d probably be a clown because I wouldn’t be much good at anything else!

If you could get rid of one county in Ireland what would it be and why? Dublin so that Mayo can get the chance to win the All-Ireland.

What would you do if you found a penguin in your freezer? I’d hope it was the chocolate version so I’d have it with a cup of tea.

Before we let you go, teach us something that we don’t know: The US marines have a hurling team.
