Top local sporting talent vie for prestigious award title

THE 2016 Celtic Ross West Cork Sports Star of the Year will be named this Saturday at a gala awards night in the Celtic Ross Hotel, Rosscarbery.
These prestigious local sports awards honour West Cork's finest athletes and as 2016 was a particularly successful year for local sportspeople, the list of contenders for the overall award is a real who's who of local, national and international sport.
