Gardaí issue warning over white van in Bantry area

GARDAI have asked people to be on the alert for a suspicious white van ‘with a picture of a digger on the side’ in the Bantry area.

According to an alert sent out to locals using the text alert system, the van’s occupants were seen selling generators from the van, in a local supermarket carpark.

It has since left the carpark area but may be in the vicinity.
