Enniskeane family delighted with €10,000 lottery win

James Godley enjoys that Friday feeling.

A West Cork family experienced that Friday feeling today when they claimed €10,000 on the National Lottery online game Mini Keno.

James Godley from Enniskeane, West Cork, was smiling from ear to ear with his young family in the National Lottery Winner’s Room after picking up his prize.

The 37-year-old spoke of the good fortune that led to him winning the top prize on the online game. He said: ‘I had been thinking of getting the National Lottery App for a while as I often miss the Lotto and EuroMillions draws due to work and I thought it would be handy for picking my numbers.

‘I registered that evening and I handed the phone to my partner, Ceara, and she won €10,000 on Mini Keno straight away!’

The delighted couple travelled up to Dublin today by train to pick up the winnings from National Lottery HQ. They planned to travel back later and James planned on treating Ceara as she was the lucky one who actually played the game.
