West Cork local Con Cadogan has been appointed to the role of Chief Supt of Cork West division

WEST Cork local Con Cadogan has been appointed to the role of Chief Supt of Cork West division, following the retirement of recent Chief Supt Tom Hayes. Chief Supt Cadogan is currently Chief Supt of Kerry Division, based at Tralee Garda Station.

Chief Supt Cadogan, who is originally from Caheragh near Skibbereen, but now living in Ballinhassing, will transfer to Bandon Garda Station with effect from December 13th. 

Educated at Caheragh NS and St Fachtna’s De La Salle in Skibbereen, he served as a garda in Kinsale and later as a Supt in Mayfield in Cork city. He is the son of Nora (nee Clancy) and Denis Cadogan.
