TWO adorable puppies taken in by the Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals have been renamed in honour of Skibbereen’s Lisheen Legends.
Congratulating the boys from West Cork, the DSPCA posted their best wishes on Facebook, just hours after the magnificent win in Rio.
No doubt referring to the now famous ‘pull like a dog’ quote, the DSPCA posted on their page:
‘We hope ye don’t mind lads, but we named these two pups in your honour,’ they wrote, adding: ‘Buachaillí maith thú!’
