Throughout the years, ever since 1889 in fact, we have always strived to continuously improve our newspaper for you, our readers and advertisers.
Recently we met and spoke with many of our customers from Cork city all the way to Castletownbere and you told us what you liked, what you didn’t like and what you wanted us to improve. So we are now proud to unveil the new redesigned Southern Star newspaper that brings a fresh new style and format whilst retaining much of the traditional content that has served us well throughout the decades.
