If you love to spend the weekend enjoying some personal downtime and r ‘n’ r, it can be the perfect opportunity to try out brand new hair and beauty products. 

A number of products have caught my eye ahead of this weekend that I’m excited to check out (I’m ignoring the fact that my beauty bag is set to burst at the seams) – and there’s even something in the mix for the lads!

From sustainable packaging with recycled glass and sustainably-sourced wooden caps down to organic Community Trade sugarcane essence, each facet of the collection has been considered with the planet in mind. The new eau de parfum range, labelled as ‘Scents from The Wild’, features five different scents, priced at €59.50 each. This is definitely going on my Christmas list!  

For those of you that love to keep your crowning glory in great shape, you may be interested to learn about the latest offering from L’Oréal Professional. Smartbond (even the name sounds as though it means business) is a new haircare product that is ideal for anyone undergoing a colour or lightening service; from extreme colour transformations, subtle colour changes and first-time hair colour converts worried about damage to the locks. It is a treatment available exclusively to L’Oréal Professional salons that involves adding the Smartbond ingredient to your colour to minimise potential damage and to protect the hair. Clients can reinforce this salon treatment with an at-home conditioner that allows you to maintain the professional result at home by using once a week for 1-3 minutes.
